Just Desert

It was Halloween night. Everyone was wearing costumes and was trick-or-treating. But one house wasn't quite in the spirit. That was 24 Linden Ln.
"Hey Joe," Robby said. Joe and Robby were brothers both 10 year old brothers. Their buckets were full of candy, and they had just passed the enchanted house.
"Yeah Robby?"
"How come no one visits 24 linden Ln."
"Because there's no one to visit."
"What?"
"Well, back a long time ago, there was a pumpkin. Not just any old pumpkin, but a cursed one. the previous owner of the house, without knowing, bought the pumpkin brought it home."
"What happened next?"
"The owner was going to cut the pumpkin into make a jack-o-lantern, but the pumpkin resisted. Once the knife mad contact, the owner vanished, leaving a small scar on the evil pumpkin. All anyone found was the knife lying on the ground, while the pumpkin sat on the table. Since then, no one dared to come close to the pumpkin."
Robby shuddered, "That's creepy."
"I know," Joe said with a smile. "Let's go touch it."
"Are you crazy!" Robby jumped. "After that story I'd never even think about it."
"Com'on Robby, let's go. Just a poke."
Robby was sweating like mad. "Ok, b-but as long as y-you touch the pumpkin f-first."
"Wussy."
They went to the haunted house. Like Robby said, Joe, touched the pumpkin first. And like the story, Joe vanished too.

The Harp

So it's true ,he thought, it's really true. The Ancient Greek myth about the long lost harp was really true. George was Greek except he did not believe in any of the myths. The tale of The Long Lost Harp was a long one and pretty much said that Athena had lost her harp one night and was never seen again. George picked up the harp and started to play it.

After playing for about a minute he saw that somehow he had summoned Athena. He knew what she wanted. Athena wanted her harp back, except she didn't know that George was not going to make it that easy for her.

"I am Athena, Goddess of..."

" I know who you are," interrupted George.

"Well then surely you must know that, that is my harp!" shouted Athena.

"Yes, I do know. I am not going to let you keep it though."

"How about this: We will have a race and winner keeps the harp!" said Athena forcefully.

"I think we have ourselves a deal."

"Ok then."

Athena was smart and quick. She very well knew that she could cheat, but thought that she did not need it. A fine Goddess like her against a wimpy boy who barely even knew anything. On the other hand, George was confident and nervous. He knew he could cheat and trick Athena.

The race came. George was not going to race. Instead he was going to take the harp and make a run for it. Athena was well prepared. The race started and George's plan worked finely. He had taken the harp to his house.

"Don't think you can hide from me!"yelled Athena.

"Keep the stupid harp!"

"Really?" asked George suspiciously.

"Yes. It is ALL yours," assured Athena.

George immediately started to play it.

"By the way, I cursed the harp. Once you start playing it you just can't stop!" cackled Athena evily.

The rest cannot be told by Jessie who was watching this entire time. He decided to leave and go on with his life as if nothing had happened.

Mr.Linden's Library

Lauren Grylif was a 14 year old girl. She and her twin brother Michael loved to read. Their life was perfect! They had all the books they ever wanted. That was all that mattered to Lauren.

A block away from their house was a newly built library. Nobody around town was interested in going into that library. Lauren was bored one day,so she decided to take a look around inside of this mysterious library.

"Hello there young child!"exclaimed a vice from behind the desk."I am Mr. Linden!Welcome to my library!" his voice echoed off of every wall."I need no money, for it is they key to suffering. You can rent my books for free, if you'd like." Money was no object for Lauren, but free is always good.

Lauren picked out one book,so as to not seem greedy. She had never read any of the books he had at the library before, but she planned to. Michael woud never have to know. She went up to the desk with a book called the deadly garden.

"Are you sure you want this book?" Mr. Linden asked in a quiet whisper.
"I'm sure this will do." she said happily, trying to lighten the mood. "Promise me you WILL NOT leave this book open at night while you sleep." he said, quieter this time. Librarians have the wirdest rules Lauren thought to herself.

That night Lauren disgarded the promise she made. She was awoken by a tingling sensation in her arm. A large vine was making its way up and out of the book and up her arm. Before she could scream a hand covered her mouth.

Mr.Linden had warned her, but it was too late.

Missing In Venice

Even with her mighty engines in reverse, the ocean liner was pulled further and further into the canal. The ship just couldn't get out of he canal.

"Reverse harder," the captain said. The boat just wouldn't budge. What could they do. Will they have to abandoned ship. There was nothing else they can do for the ship. Then the engines stopped running. They pushed her to much.

"If reverse won't work what can we do," the captain said", We can't call for help, there is no reception in this canal." The ship might be stuck there forever. The ship was pulling and tugging when the engines came back on.

"Let's get off and see what is the problem,"the captain said. Then the captain got off with his crew. They searched and searched. Then they found the problem to why the ship wouldn't move. It was a giant boulder. All they had to do was move the boulder.

"How will we move it," the crewman said.

"I know," the captain said. So they put these two hooks around the boulder with ropes and pulled. I wasn't budging to much.

"We need a bit more muscle here for the boulder to move," the captain said. Who was the strongest one there. There was no one too strong that is on the ship.

"Can all strong people come to the lower deck," the captain said on the speaker. The lucky thing was that there was a circus booked on the ship at the time. The bad thing was that the muscle man was missing. Where was he? What can they do now?

"the muscular man is missing so everyone has to find him," the captain said. Who took the muscular man. Where has the muscular man gone. Did he die. Did someone murder the muscular man. If someone did who did it. Yet time passed and it was 5 a.m in the morning when something tragic happened. the screams and everything woke up the whole guests on the ship. There was a very huge crowd of people. It was so big the captain couldn't make his way through to see waht happened. Then right in front of the captain was a murder. Pinned into the mans stomach was a note.

"Don't be talking about the muscular man, everytime you do someone on this ship will die," The note said.

"We must find a way to contact the cops,"the captain said. There was no way they could make contact.

"Looks like it is our job now,"the captain said. The captain looked around the ship at night. His flashlight was pointing at the floor. Then he saw a track of blood leading to the basement. He had to see what was down there on his own. Then out came a ghostly figure. What was that figure. Was it the muscular man or the murderer.

"Who are you and what do you want," the captain said.

"I am the muscular man," the man said. Then the next morning the muscular man helped push the boulder. Then the ship was free again.

Another Place, Another Time

Intro
The kids go off to school, and Mrs. Larmont is alone at home. She has the whole day to herself until the kids come home. But her day doesn't turn out the way she planned it to.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is 12:15 in the afternoon, and two kids, Brenda and Timmy Larmont, are at their 5th period, History, with their teacher, Professor Lone. Brenda and Timmy loved Professor Lone. He used to be a police officer, so Timmy looked up to Professor Lone. And Brenda thought he was the best teacher because he knew everything she asked.

*****

As the day dragged on, Brenda and Timmy couldn't wait to tell their mom that Professor Lone would take them and the whole class on a field trip to the wilderness for the weekend. But that news just had to wait.

*****
When school finally ended, Brenda and Timmy walked to their house. They walked up the stairs of the front porch, and opened the door. They noticed that their house was a complemess. Broken lamps, torn up pillows, and smashed windows.
"Mom,"yelled Brenda,"you here."
No answer.
The two of them walked around the house, trying to find their mom. She was no where to be found.

"Where could she be," questioned Timmy.

They waited and waited around for the whold night for their mother.

*****

The following day, their mom still wasn't back. So Brenda and Timmy decided to call the police and Professor Lone. The police were at their house first, then Professor Lone showed up.

Brenda and Timmy stepped out of their house and onto the porch.

"So do you to have any clue where your mom could've gone," asked a policeman.

"No idea," replied Timmy.

"Well if we can, may we search your house for clues."

"Sure thing,"said Brenda.

The two teens waited with Professor Lone while the police searched their house. It took them a while, but when they walked out of the house, Brenda noticed one of the police holding a strange video tape.

"We found this on top of your mom's dresser. Do you have any idea what it is,"

asked a policeman.

"Nope, never seen it before,"said Brenda.

"But can we play it," asked Timmy.

"Sure thing,"replied the police.

The whole gang of policemen, Professor Lone, and Timmy and Brenda walked into the house. The police put the tape in the T.V. and everyone watched.

On the T.V. screen, there was a strange man. He spoke.

If you want this lady back, then you must follow these simple instructions. His voice was interuppted by a faint scream. The camera turned. And now on the screen was Mrs. Larmont, hands tied, and a mess. Anyway, you must go south toward the equator and you must search very very hard. Because it can be anywhere. Go to the beach in the west side of South America and you will see a little train, sort of like a boat. Go on it and head east on it. You will then reach a strange island. One more thing, if you want this lady back, I hope you are rich because the only way you can get her back is if you give me something in return.

The T.V. screen turned black. Everyone looked at eachother with a strange face.

The House On Maple Street

"Well, tomorrow will be the last day,"Jerry maps thinks to himself. He has just finished adding some new equipment on his new house rocket which will have it's first lift-off tomorrow. Jerry has always dreamed of going up into space but staying in his house at the same time. So he had gotten a crazy idea that he could build a house rocket. He has been working on it for just about two weeks now. All he needs to do is get the fuel and do some little touch-ups, and he will be off tomorrow night.

The street lights on Maple have just turned on so just about one hour is left till lift-off. Jerry Maps is pacing around his suburb home, thinking about what will happen at nine o-clock.

Then the clock strikes nine and Jerry hurrries into teh basement where he has built the rocket. Once inside, he fires up the engine and calls for his cat Macy to come down. When the house rocket will have escalated a few thousand feet, Mr. Maps and Macy will be able to go about their house as usual.

"Okay, let's fire this baby up into the sky, shall we Macy?" Jerry just pretty much asks himself. Macy meows. "Well then let's goooooo!" And with that, Mr. Maps and Macy were off to worlds unknown. Once at a level that they could move around, Jerry and Macy headed off into the living room. "It was a perfect lift-off, wadn't it Macy?" Macy meows again and cuddles into Jerry's lap.

Much time had passed since Jerry Maps and Macy went up and away in their house rocket. But during one cold January night, Maps and Macy returned to Earth to find a great surprise. They were gone for four years and had no recolection of what ws happening back on Maple street. When they got back, they realized that nothing had changed. The whole neighborhood had stayed the same. The only difference they found was that when they landed, took a peek outside, then cma back inside, was that the clock on the kitchen counter said one o' clock AM. It was still dark out too, they remembered. Just like when they had left.

Jerry goes back outside, only to find that someone had dropped a letter addressed to him on his front doorstep. He wonders who would be leaving letters on someone's doorstep at this hour. Jerry opens the letter. The letter said, "It may seem that you have been goen for four years, but that is not so. Here on Earth you have returned to find that you have only been goen for four hours. Don't be scared, just look around, and you'll see what I mean. But you'll never see me."

Uninvited Guests

His heart was pounding, he was sure he had seen the doorknob turn. Trevor reached fort he handle and gently turned it. It creaked open, and a little mouse emerged. It began crawling up Trevor's legs and came to a rest on his shoulder.
"My name is Buster, boy!" the mouse said. Trevor was frozen with shock.
"Y...y...y...you can talk!?!" he asked Buster still shocked.
"Yeah, so can you," Buster said. "If you want to live, go through that door there. You know, the one you opened."
Once inside, Trevor realized he was walking through a dimly lit corridor. He noticed a door to the far left, standing halfway open. Buster advised him again that if he wanted to live, he would go through this door. With Buster still sitting on his left shoulder, Trevor took a deep breathe, and walked through the door. He instantly began plunging deeper and deeper into complete and total darkness. His shrill screams of terror pierced the silent air. A foot before hitting the bottom, Trevor was jerked to a sudden halt.
"Good we made it," Buster said.
"Where the heck are we?" Trevor asked flabbergasted.
"We are in Pantchintla. My home and your new one."
"What!?!" Trevor cried.
"Yep, you're going to be living here with yours truly." Buster said gesturing towards himself.
"No, my home is in Little Rock, Arkansas, not Pantchintla, wherever that is."
"Don't worry, when we get above ground, you'll love it," Buster exlaimed. Trevor looked at him in disbelief.
"Oh, and you need a new name, how about Pinknin. Yes that suits you just fine."
"No, I'd rather keep Trevor."
"Too bad, slaves don't have a choice. Oh, that's right, you're a slave." Trevor fainted.
The next thing he knew, he was in a small room that looked like a cell.
"Hello!?" he called out.
"Good! You're awake," a short pudgy man hollered. "Now you can get to work."
"Work?!" he yelled. "What are you talking about? I belong in Arkansas!"
"Arka-whata?" the short pudgy man called.
"Never mind," Trevor muttered.
"My name is Pilton, by the way," he said. " I hear you're Pinknin."
"Not by choice."
"Better get used to it my boy! You're a slave now!" Pilton cried.
"Why?!" Trevor asked. "I'm leaving as soon as I get a chance!!"
"Nope," Pilton replied. "You stay a slave in Pantchintla 'til you die or are killed, my boy."
At that moment, Trevor realized he should have NEVER opened the basement door. He was stuck now. Trevor once again fainted.

Archie Smith, Boy Wonder

Ten year old Archie Smith climbed onto his bed, laid down, and closed his eyes. He was exhausted, angry, and dirty. Archie had just finished cleaning his Aunt Helen’s house. He was sent to live at his aunt’s house because his parents had died in a fire. Aunt Helen was a wicked with. She despised Archie and she always made him clean. Suddenly, a tiny voice asked, “Is he the one?”
Archie gasped. He ran out of his room and sprinted downstairs. “Aunt Helen! There’s a ghost in our house!” Archie shouted. He came to a stop at the bottom of the stairs.
“What are you talking about you little brat?” Aunt Helen shouted. “There is no such thing as ghosts!”
“Archie, ignore her! I am real! I need your help!” The same voice said.
“Did you hear that Aunt Helen?” Archie asked. Before his aunt could answer, an eighteen year old girl with blazing red hair appeared at Aunt Helen’s side. Archie’s aunt screamed then fainted.
“Aunt Helen!” Archie shouted.
“Leave her there Archie,” The girl with red hair said. “My name is Carol. My master has sent me here to notify you that you have been chosen to save our magical land Sparta.”
Archie couldn’t help laughing. “Sparta? Wasn’t that a city-state in Greece?” Archie said once he was done laughing.
“Yes. Does it really matter?” Carol said through gritted teeth. “Anyways, we are being attacked by a species that we cannot identify. We need your help Archie.”
Archie thought, “Teenagers are crazy. A magical land? Yeah right! I don’t even believe in the tooth fairy!”Archie finally decided to say, “Do you need to go to the hospital? I can wake up my aunt and she can drive you there. Or I could call your…” Archie didn’t get to finish. The girl started shouting out words Archie never heard before. Archie saw a flash of yellow light. Then he fainted.

“Archie! Wake up!” Carol shouted. After ten more minutes, Archie finally woke up. He felt incredibly sleepy. He felt like he had just been punched in the head, but he remembered everything. He looked around and saw an open field of grass. “What….happened?” Archie asked.
“I just took you to Sparta,” Carol said. “All I need to do is say the magic words and Sparta will appear out of nowhere and I can prove you wrong.”
Carol started to say strange words again. Suddenly, Archie was in a town that had a thousand feet high buildings. There were fairies everywhere and Carol suddenly had wings just like the other fairies. Archie was about to faint. “This isn’t real!” Archie thought.
“Come on Archie. I’ll take you to my master,” Carol said. Archie and Carol walked to a tall building that was close to them. They climbed six staircases until they entered a red and golden room.
“Master Timothy,” Carol said. “I have Archie Smith with me.”
Archie looked at Timothy. He was sitting on a chair working on something that was on his desk. He was an old man with grey hair. He looked up and smiled.
“Archie Smith,” Timothy said. “You can call me Timothy. I am sure you’re wondering why you are here.”
Archie nodded.
Timothy said, “These… people keep on attacking Sparta. We need you to help us defeat them.” Archie laughed. Once he was done laughing he said, “I think you have the wrong person. I’m a wimpy ten year old.”
Before Timothy could answer, the building started to shake. Timothy stood up and looked at Carol. He said, “It’s time.”
Carol nodded. Archie started to panic. He hated earthquakes. Carol said, “Archie come with me, grab a sword from the closet. I’ll meet you downstairs.”
Archie couldn’t believe it. She wanted him to fight off creepy creatures! “I’m not going to do this,” Archie thought. “I’m too young to be a murderer.”
Archie walked out of the room and went into the closet. He grabbed a sword and thought, “Just in case.” He ran down the stairs and opened the door. There was hundreds of “things” in armor. Some were on horses too. “What is this Narnia?” Archie said out loud. Someone heard him. He ran towards Archie, swinging his sword. Archie had no choice. He ran towards the “thing” and held out his sword. Archie heard a sickening crunch. He looked down and saw a pool of blood."Oh no,” Archie thought. “I’m a murderer!”
Archie kept on running. “I need to get out of here!” Archie thought. “Thank goodness,” Archie said. He had just found the exit. There was an archway that led to an open field of grass. “Archie I need help!” Archie turned around and looked for the person that called out his name. Carol. She was fighting a huge person that had wings just like her. Archie didn’t know what to do. Archie sighed. He ran towards Carol and held out his sword. Archie felt a pain in his side. He opened his eyes. Carol was lying on the ground, clutching her right arm. Archie fell to the ground and clutched his side. He looked at his hand and saw blood. “At least I helped Carol. I did the right thing. My life is horrible anyways. It’s okay if I die,” Archie thought. He heard unfamiliar words. There was a flash of green light, and then everything went pitch black.

The Third-Floor Bedroom

THE THIRD FLOOR BEDROOM.jpgThe story I picked from the book, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, was The Third-Floor Bedroom. The book says that none of these stories were ever known to be finished, so I finished this one.
Ever since they moved to Skir Dow, Chelsie Markis and her parents have had a lot of problems. She had been dating a boy named Turk Flent for three months and her dad was going crazy. He forbid her to date Turk but that only made her love him more. Chelsie's dad had always been super protective of her but he had gone too far. She couldn't stand it anymore. She was leaving the nest. No matter what her dad said, Chelsie Markis would never leave Turk Flent.
This is only the summary of my story, so if you want to read the whole thing you can find it on my glogster. Plus, if you remember my author's fair (The Slightest Chance), this is the prequel. Hope you like it.

The Seven Chairs

The masked thief stood between the columns of pillars that encased the abandoned ballet studio. The messengers arrived. They strode across the slick floor to the black clad figure. "We destroyed the chairs sir," one, a man, said. The thief made a face behind his mask. He knew a lie when he heard one. "All of them?" the thief asked impatiently. The other messenger, a woman, nodded quickly. More lies, the thief thought. "We burned them all. Except we had some trouble with the police. The fifth ended up in France. Xerxes tore it apart and threw it in the Thames," she said meekly. The thief chuckled silently. "And the seventh...?" he said. Both of the messengers froze. Silence. "Sir, we didn't know-" the man began. "Didn't know? Oh my. That just adds some more to my to-do list, now doesn't it?" the thief mocked. Then he spontaniously caught on fire. The woman was first to realize. "A dummy," she whispered. But it was too late. The pillars began falling. Beams swung off their posts. The glass windows shattered. A domino effect began. The messengers were both dead before they had time to move.
One day later.....Claire began her daily experience: eat, sleep, and watch television. As she began chewing her cereal, she clicked on her VCR and changed the channel to the news. "Thanks, Bob.Yesterday night, the museum of Natural Arts was invaded. The only pieces that wern't recovered with six chairs. Investigators are stumped. No one knows why a thief would steal six chairs but leave out the seventh. Moving on, two crushed bodies were discovered in the debris of what was an abandoned ballet studio.By passers say that the building merely collapsed around midnight. Identifacations still unknown. Now here's Ronda Rains with the forecast," the reporter said. Claire stopped. Angela's parents own that museum, she thought. She shrugged and set out for school. An interruption to her daily experience. "So Angela, what happened at the museum last night?" Claire asked during lunch. Angela's eyes widened. She was about to reply when-Angela Cross please report to the office. Still wide-eyed, she picked up her binder and got up from the table. "Talk to you later," she mouthed. Then she was gone. Claire wondered what had just happened. I'll see her tomorrow, Claire thought. But Angela didn't come back. Rumors began spreading that she had been arrested. Claire ignored them.
One week later.....Claire's job at home was to take out the trash. She lived alone with her dad, so it wasn't that often she had to. At 6pm, she heaved the garbage and went down the alley to the dumpster. That's when she heard the voices. She began trailing them until she was led to a dead end. "Did you destroy the chair?" a black clad figure asked with a familiar voice. The man he spoke to nodded. What's going on? Claire thought. The shadowy figure looked up. She was was spotted. Claire gasped and dropped the garbage with a clunk. She ran. The dark alley ways were like a maze. She didn't worry about getting home. Just about getting out of there. Claire looked back. The thief had stopped. She wondered why for a couple of seconds until she slipped on a puddle of oil. Claire went airborne. Who is that? she thought. Then, likewise to the trash, she landed with a sickening crunch.
One hour later..... Claire awoke tied to a chair. Looking around, she realized she was surrounded by stacks of crates. An abandoned warehouse. She tried to remember waht had happened. Images zoomed through her mind until- "Awake, I see," the thief said. Claire's head snapped up. The figure moved away his mask to reveal the face of Angela Cross. "Angela! I don't understand. What's happening?" Claire asked, frightened. Angela didn't know how to reply. "I don't want to do this Claire. But you know too much already," Angela murmured, inspecting a silverf knife. Claire gasped. "YOU stole the chairs! You robbed yourself! But why? I don't get it!" she cried. Angela sighed. "Might as well tell you. You don't have a bright future ahead of yourself," she said sharply. Claire changed her fearful expression to one that became angry. "Anyways, the horrible accident at the ballet studio was my doing. I killed those messengers. Can't find good help these days. They didn't destroy all the chairs. And why, you ask?" Angela broke into laughter. "My parents got into an argument that simply couldn't be solved. I vowed to ruin them. So I began to start with their economic life. Claire. I can't have anyone in my way," Angela said, tightening the grip on the dagger. "Your insane!" Claire screamed. Angela snapped. She threw the knife straight at Claire, who was still tied to the chair. She struggled in the ropes. Then she put all her weight to the left. The chair collapsed and Claire let out a faint squeak. She missed death by an inch. Fortunately, Angela's action is what caused her demise. The blade embedded itself in a crate. If Angela knew this was a dynamite warehouse, she would have found better coordinates. The air exploded. Flames spread across the looming stacks of boxes. Claire swung violently until she slipped through the ropes. Smoke whirled around. Angela was already leaving. "You won't escape!!!" she shouted hysterically. She had gone insane. She turned around to face Claire. She reached into her suit and brought out a shiny pistol. Aimed it at Claire. Grasped the trigger. And suddenly dropped the gun. "No!" Angela screamed. A burning crate fell from its tower and split into a dozen pieces of rebar. They all were falling downward at a fast rate towards Angela. There was a dozen sounds of thump thump thump. Claire closed her eyes. She didn't listen to the fatal shriek. Claire didn't mourn. She got out of the blaze alive. She got home and stumbled into the couch. "Did you have fun taking out the trash? her dad asked from the kitchen. Claire looked up in surprise. She scanned the room from her dad to her burnt and scarred clothing.
"Yes. Yes I did."

Captain Tory

Captain Tory

One night at 312 Maple Street a man told his grandchildren of the tale of Captain Tory. This is how the tale goes:
It all started on the ship O’really. The ship was setting sail for the island of Antigua. What they were looking for was treasure. But first they had to go get Captain Tory at the harbor. Captain Tory swung his lantern three times and slowly the schooner ship appeared.
“Welcome aboard,” said the first mate
“Yes Yes let’s get a move on,” said Captain Tory
“Aye Aye captain,” exclaimed the crew
Many days passed until the ship finally got to Antigua. Captain Tory found the place where the treasure was suppose to be and he ordered his men to start digging.
“We found something!” said one man
“Well get it out then,” replied Tory
The thing that they found was a treasure chest. Inside it were thousand of jewels and gold coins. The men were loading the chest onto the boat when cannon from a boat opened fire on them.
“I’ll take that,” said one man
He ran off until he was back on his ship.
“Get to the boat!” yelled Tory

The O’really followed the ship for several days until battle was waged on the fourth day.
“Get the grappling hooks!” said Tory
The men from the O’really then got on the hooks and started pulling. When the other ship was close enough the men jumped onto the other ship. A fierce battle ensued and blood was everywhere. The crew from the O’really then returned to their ship but the treasure was still in enemy hands.

Captain Tory had a plan to steal back the treasure. While the enemy ship was docked at port Tory would sneak onto the ship, steal the key for whichever room the treasure was in, and then get the treasure and get back onto the O’really.
The next day Tory put his plan into action.
During the middle of the night while no one was on watch Tory snuck on board the enemy ship.
Luckily no one had heard him for Captain Tory had particularly loud footsteps because of his steel-toed boots.
While trying to find out where the treasure was he heard two men talking. Tory found out that the treasure was in the Captain’s quarters.
“This is going to be harder than I thought,” said Tory
“Did you hear something,” said one man
“No,” replied someone else
“Must be the wind,”
“Must be,”
Tory then went looking for the key to the Captain’s quarters. He looked near and far but was having no luck finding where the keys were.
Finally, he saw that one of the crewmen had a set of keys.
“Come here,” Tory whispered
When the crewmen with the keys was out of sight of the others Tory attacked. To make sure that there was no evidence Tory took the keys and then dumped the body into the ocean.
“Now, I just have to find where the Captain’s quarters are,” said Tory
Tory quickly found where the room was and after trying what seemed to be thousands of keys he found one that would open the door.
When he entered the room, he found that it was decorated very lavishly. He quickly saw that the treasure was under the bed and he grabbed it. Suddenly, the captain of the other ship came in.
“What are you doing here!” he exclaimed
Tory quickly made his way to the door and got out of the room just in the nick of time.
Then he started running as fast as he could and then suddenly the whole crew started chasing after him.
Luckily he got himself off the boat and then he cut the rope that attached the other ship to the dock.
The crew of the O’really yelled in rejoice when they saw Captain Tory walk back onto the ship with treasure in one hand and himself in one piece.
Just when Tory thought the madness was over the other ship again opened fire on the O’really. The sails of the O’really came crashing down and Tory was able to sidestep the giant sails by only a few inches.
The O’really fired back and the cannon made a huge dent on the side of the other ship.
Suddenly, what seemed to be a giant squid creature came up and swallowed the enemy ship.
The crew of the O’really was in shock as they heard the dying screams of the men on the other ship.
For some reason though, the giant squid did not attack the O’really. The crew then named the creature “Kraken”, because it created a big crack in the other ship.
The crew then returned to land because of their fear of the Kraken.
The men told their story to the world but they were called liars. But they know what they saw on that fateful day.

5 years later, the men of the O’really set out to catch the Kraken. They were determined to prove to the world that they weren’t liars,
With them, they brought some of the world’s finest fishing technology.
They set out on the morning of July 14.
Nobody ever knew if they caught the Kraken or not for the crew of the O’really never came back. Some say that he Kraken had attacked while some say something “else” happened.
There was one survivor of the group though. He was one of the deck-hands. His name was Jim Tracy.
Seeing all of his friends die made Jim go crazy.
50 years later he escaped the mental institution he was locked up in.
Today he is a proud grandfather and grandfather with 1 son and 2 grandchildren named Eliza and Isaac.
